Who?
Sparks Volleyball Club is committed to providing an excellent volleyball experience that promotes hard work, great attitudes, a genuine respect for the game, a “TEAM” concept at all times, and leadership development for every athlete.
SVBC will provide the maximum opportunity for every athlete to train and compete at their highest level.

What?
Champion athletes aren’t just born - they’re selected, trained, molded, and tested. We hone raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, primal workouts, and a true love of the sport. Teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship - those are the hallmarks of Sparks VBC.

Sparks Volleyball Club was founded on the core belief of "Teaching life lessons through the sport of volleyball". We have some of the most experienced and sought-after coaches in the region.
Our state of the art 17,000 square foot facility is equipped with the latest volleyball training equipment.
FAQ
What do club fees cover?
Club fees cover uniforms, court time, coaches, and tournaments. If it is a travel team it also covers transportation, hotels, and most food at travel games.
When and where are practices?
Practice times are set at the beginning of the season. All practice will be held at Nevada Volleyball Center
What sets sparks apart from other teams?
If I had to describe it in one word it would be the sense of “family” Our gym emphasizes core values such as “teaching life lessons through the sport of volleyball” It shows in the athletes’ actions when they are on the court and in public. Sparks is a home away from home and a safe place of expression.
How do you sign up with Sports Engine?
As parents, you will get an email invite to join the team that your child is on.
What age levels and programs do we have?
We have programs starting from never touching volleyball to competing at a national level.
Recreational – just for fun
Development – Fundamentals & build confidence
Local – grow in skill and start competing at the local level
Modified – Travel to neighboring states to compete at a higher level, start to attempt nationals
Regionals – Travel to neighboring states and beyond, play to qualify for nationals
National – Travel all the United States. Expected to be competing at a national level.
What kind of training do our coaches have?
Coaches have been background checked, USAV, CAP1, JVA, SVCA certified, Safe Sport Impact, Code of Conduct youth agreements, and monthly staff training. Played and coached at the collegiate level.
When are tryouts and how much do they cost?
The tryouts for High School are always the 3rd week of July. Middle School and Elementary are the first week of October. Try-out costs $20.
Where do the travel teams travel to?
Modified travel teams go to any neighboring state. AZ, UT, and CA
Regional & National – Travel all over the states with the intent to qualify for nationals. Travel can be 1 – 3 times a month.
